14 Canadian Couples Renew

was in the air last week at the EL
DORADO Seaside Suites on the secluded beach of Kantenah in the heart
of Mexico's Riviera Maya where 14 Canadian couples renewed their vows.
The couples, all from Victoria, Canada, were all first-time visitors
to EL DORADO, the luxurious, boutique, gourmet-inclusive resort only
for adults.
All 14 couples renewed their vows together on the beach under the warmth of the afternoon sun. The grooms waited on the pristine beach while their brides elegantly proceeded one by one towards their husbands for the romantic ceremony. The ceremony concluded with each couple making a wish on a seashell and then collectively casting the shells into the ocean before the champagne was uncorked and the cake cut. The ceremony was followed by a celebration at the Mexican Donkey Bar on the beach where couples were treated to photos with the resident donkey, and an elegant dinner at the resort's gourmet Mexican restaurant. Keepsakes the couples received to remember their renewal ceremony included sand that they all poured into a box during the ceremony and a special local newspaper from their renewal day.
